Adding value to Gift Cards will require those gift cards to be created on Studio first. For details on creating gift cards please reference the Studio article here
Managing Gift Cards


Step 1: Gift Card Item

  1. Gift Card menu item will be listed by default after the last category attached to each menu
  2. Tap the gift card menu item and the Gift Card Add Credit window will be shown
  3. Enter the gift card number that has been created on Studio. If the gift card has not been created yet you will see a message indicating the gift card number is not found
  4. Enter the dollar amount that needs to be added to the gift card. Tap accept and done
  5. The gift card item and amount will now be added to the order
  6. Gift Card item amounts will always be calculated as non-taxed
  7. Send the order and select the payment type to finalize the transaction
  8. Once the order is finalized a gift card transaction receipt will print automatically. The gift card receipt will list the gift card number, amount, remaining balance, and transaction number
  9. Gift Cards sold will not be included in the Net Revenue but added into the overall Net Collected for the period
