The Studio gift card store setting should be enabled in order to take gift card payments



Step 1: Gift Card Payment

  1. A new gift card payment option will be listed below credit cards
  2. Tap the gift card payment and a gift card number entry will be displayed inside the payment window
  3. The payment amount will default to the remaining balance total. A custom or seat payment amount can also be selected
  4. Enter the gift card number and the EZ Dine App will perform a validation check on the card
  5. Once confirmed the gift card payment type will be displayed inside the payment window
  6. Applying a gift card tip will deduct the tip amount entered from the overall balance of the gift card
  7. If the tip amount is greater than the remaining balance a message will be displayed preventing the tip amount from being entered
  8. When the transaction is finalized a gift card receipt will print automatically. The receipt will detail the gift card number, amount, tip, remaining balance, and transaction number
  9. Gift Card payment redemptions will be reported as part of the misc payment type total collected
