The Loyalty program will use a points and rewards system. For every one dollar spent it will equal one point. Every ten points accrued it will equal a dollar reward that can be redeemed Existing loyalty programs will not be transferred over. Current loyalty customers should be treated as new customers that will be earning points and rewards for the first time
Step 1: Adding/Linking Customers
- The loyalty program will need to be enabled on your company by an EZ Software administrator
- Once enabled the EZ Dine App will display two new loyalty options on the payment page
- For adding and linking loyalty customers there will be a new loyalty tab located below the customer receipt print options
- Tap the loyalty tab and you will have the option to enter the loyalty customer number. The loyalty number used will be the customer's ten digit phone number. The ten digit number will be required for validating the loyalty number
- Select the phone number field and a number keypad will be shown. Enter the phone number and select done
- Press the link tab and the EZ Dine App will confirm the ten digit number requirement
- A new customer window will be prompted indicating the loyalty customer number is not found. You will have the option to register the phone number as a new loyalty customer
- Tap YES and and the loyalty account will now be created and linked to the order
- Detaching a linked account can be done by removing the entered phone number

Step 2: Earning Points
- Points will be earned based on the after tax total and rounded down to the nearest whole number
- One dollar spent will equal one point earned
- Every ten points accrued will equal one dollar in rewards balance that can be redeemed
- The loyalty customer will need to be linked prior to the transaction being finalized in order to earn points
- Loyalty customers can be linked to the entire order or by individual seats
- Select the loyalty tab below the customer receipt print options
- Enter the phone number and tap link. The loyalty account will now be attached to the entire order
- Choose a payment method and finalize the transaction
- Tap the seat number heading to expand the seat view
- The loyalty phone number entry form will be shown below the items
- Enter the loyalty number and press link. The customer account will now be tied to the specific seat
- Select a seat payment method and finalize the transaction

Step 3: Redeeming Rewards
- Link the loyalty customer account to the order and the current rewards balance will be shown. The balance listed will be available for redemption
- Select the loyalty payment option and the new loyalty payment window will be displayed
- The loyalty credit amount that can be redeemed will be the corresponding balance
- Enter the payment amount and that amount will be automatically deducted from the rewards balance
- The loyalty payment type will be listed inside the payment window. The transaction can be finalized if the loyalty payment amount covers the balance. For any remaining balances additional payments can be applied to finalize the transaction
- Anytime the rewards balance is redeemed the points total will automatically reset to zero
- If the payment redemption amount entered is greater than the rewards balance. The EZ Dine App will display a payment failed warning message
