Step 1: Hexnode MDM App

  1. The EZ Dine app will be installed and maintained by a third party app called Hexnode

  2. Hexnode will be pre configured on every device the EZ Dine app will be running on
  3. Through Hexnode any new EZ Dine App updates will be automatically deployed

Step 2: Installing & Updating The EZ Dine App

  1. Microtouch devices will deploy the new EZ Dine app updates inside the Hexnode install screen
  2. Select install of the EzDine-PROD app and confirm install
  3. When finished tap open on the EZ Dine app and the new version will be successfully installed
  4. Samsung devices will automatically deploy the new EZ Dine app updates in the background
  5. The EZ Dine app will close while the new update is installing
  6. Start the EZ Dine app back again and the new version will be successfully installed

Step 3: Manually Updating The EZ Dine App

  1. Any instances where the install screen was closed you will need to manually update the EZ Dine app
  2. Select the Hexnode app and you will see the default user page
  3. Tap the settings icon located on the top left hand corner of the page
  4. Inside settings tap the first selection for Apps. This will list the previous downloaded and installed EZ Dine app versions
  5. Any EzDine - PROD apps that do not have installed listed on the right hand side should be selected
  6. Install and follow the previous steps for updating the EZ Dine app on the Microtouch device

Step 4: Outdated EZ Dine App Version

  1. Any tablets that have not been updated will display an outdated versioning message on the top header of the EZ Dine App
  2. This means the latest update will need to be manually installed. Follow the manual update instructions outlined in step three
