What are add-on items?

  • An Add-on item is a special instruction for a menu item or modifier.  These can include special instructions, specific cooking instructions, or up charges.
  • Examples include: Extra crispy for food items, Double meat upcharges, and items placed on the side such as dressings.

How to make an Addon Group

  1. From the dashboard, Click on Addon Groups from the MENU section of Ez Dine Studio.
  2. Click on the Green Add Addon Group +
  3. Enter the following information
    1. Name
    2. Minimum and maximum required choices
  4. Click Save

How to add addon items

  1. From the Addon Groups page, click on the Blue Pencil icon to pull up the Edit on Addon Group screen
  2. Provide the following
    1. Name
    2. Upcharge (defaults to 0.00 if left empty)
  3. Click Create
  4. Click Save

How to remove addon items

  1. From the Addon Groups page, click on the Blue Pencil icon to pull up the Edit on Addon Group screen
  2. Click on the Red trash can icon
    1. Click on the blue undo if this was accidental
  3. Click Save

How to Edit addon items

  1. From the Addon Groups page, click on the Blue Pencil icon to pull up the Edit on Addon Group screen
  2. Click the Blue pencil icon to pull up the edit screen
  3. Click the Green save button
  4. Click Save

How to associate an addon group to an item or modifier

  1. Select Addon Group from the MENU section of the EZ Dine Studio
  2. Click on the item or modifier you wish to edit it.
  3. In the Addon Section, choose the group to associate with.
  4. Click Save
