Items and modifiers created under the menus section will be listed automatically inside the items and modifier section. Creating any new items and modifiers from this section will be available to attach inside the menu section. All of the same item and modifier settings mentioned under the menu section will be available to use here
Step 1: Add Item
- Select the green +Add Item option
- Enter the name and any additional settings and save
Step 2: Item Search and Filters
- Enter the item name on the top search bar to filter to specific items
- Select the filter icon next to the Add Item option. First option is changing the layout from card to list view
- List view will allow for quick edits to the price, cost, and tax group of the items. Additional sorting options by the Id number, name, or ascending(alphabetically) or descending
- Apply filter and the items will be organized according to the filter options
Step 3: Add Modifier
- By default the Item list will be displayed
- Select the search filter and choose the modifier toggle and save
- All modifiers will be listed along with the option to create new modifiers
- Select the green + Add Modifier option
- Enter the modifier name, kitchen ticket name(optional), and price/cost of the modifier(optional)
- Additional options to turn on auto-prompt and to attach modifiers/modifier groups
- Attaching modifiers group to a modifier is defined as a nested modifier. Common example might be a temperature modifier group attached to a steak modifier
