Discounts are personalized or publicly-released offers that can be used as a purchasing incentive that reduces the price of an order. They can help attract shoppers and encourage repeat customers.


How to create a discount

  1. Click on Discounts in the MENU section.
  2. Click on the Add Discount + to create the discount
  3. On the Create New Discount screen, Fill in the following:
    1. General
      1. Name of the discount
      2. Description of the discount
      3. Discount Type: Click here for more details.
      4. Amount type
        1. Flat amount is an exact amount of discount.
          1. Example: $5 off
        2. Percentage is used to give a proportional discount
          1. Example: 10% off
    2. Condition
      1. Days Applied: The days that your discount is available
      2. Start time and End times of the discounts availability
  4. Use the Store Selector to apply these discounts to multiple locations.
  5. Click Save

Discount Types

  • Ticket
    • Ticket discounts are discounts that are applied directly to the full transaction amount. 
    • This type of discount is best used for promotions where a the full meal will be discounted.
    • Example: $5 off your purchase.
  • Category
    • Category discounts are applied to all menu items within a respective category and the sub categories within.
    • This type of discount can be applied to all categories or selected categories.
    • Example: Half off (50%) Appetizers
    • This type of discount is also able to set the ability to Automatically Apply onto the category.
      • To enable this feature you will need to toggle the Auto Apply option to the right BLUE position

  • Item
    • Item discounts are applied to menu items directly.
    • This type of discount can be applied to all items or a specific list.
    • Example: $5 off select entrees.
    • This type of discount is also able to set the ability to Automatically Apply to the Menu Item.
      • To enable this feature you will need to toggle the Auto Apply option to the right BLUE position
  • Employee
    • Employee discounts are discounts applied to employee meals.
    • This type of discount can be applied to all employees or a specific list of employees
    • Example: 50% off meals for employees, 100% off meals for managers.

Disclaimer About Discounts

  • Auto Apply Multi-day
    • Auto apply discounts are currently isolated to same day discounts. If your location is opened beyond midnight, you will have to create a secondary discount for the rest of the day.
      • Example
        • Tuesday Half off 6pm-3am
          • You will need to set up the following discounts
          • Tuesday 6:00pm-11:59PM
          • Wednesday 12:00am - 3:00am
